So, I have a youtube account, and I get this message from a girl that I'll keep anonymous for now..
She said.. "Mixed people think that their so special... but their NOT."
And I was like.. "What?"
She goes on to say.. "Mixed people are a joke. Just cause your mixed, does NOT make you pretty! Why are you so into yourself??"
Me..well.. being me, came up with a brilliant answer..
I said ".. why are you not?"
She never messaged me back after that.
Being mixed has nothing to do with someone's level of narcissism or popularity. And I really don't get why she came to me out of nowhere like that..
It's not like I walk around saying, 'I'm mixed and that makes me extra special!'
I don't know, but personally, I like being mixed. It gives me something to identify with, something that makes me.. me.
I guess some people don't like it but that's not my problem.. I guess you could just call her a 'hater'. haha
Most of my friends are mixed with one thing or another. Times are changing. Almost everyone is mixed with some other race, whether they are aware of it or not. Racism is on its way out ladies and gentlemen, and its time for our attitudes to change.
And nevertheless, I believe that Being mixed is a beautiful thing. ♥
